I fell in love with programming while studying Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. At the end of college, I developed health problems that I have mostly recovered from but that limited my ability to work for a few years.

With my free time, I like to practice yoga, read, play basketball, dance Salsa, and learn languages. I have achieved my goal of being conversational and able to read most books in French, Spanish, and Portuguese and I am now working on Polish and German.
