Surge Chess is a mobile game that offers local play, offline AI play, and online matchmaking through Apple Game Center.

Local two-player games and offline AI games are intended to run on-device and do not require online matchmaking.
Online multiplayer features rely on Apple Game Center and related Apple services. When you use online matchmaking or accept an invite, Apple may process your information according to Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
You should review Apple’s policies to understand how Apple handles Game Center data.
Surge Chess does not sell your personal information.
During online matches, gameplay data is shared with the matched remote player through Apple Game Center networking so that the match can function correctly.
Information may also be processed by Apple or other service providers to the extent required to provide platform services.
Based on the current app implementation, Surge Chess does not maintain a dedicated developer-operated backend that stores player profiles or match history.
Some information may still be handled or retained by Apple or by the operating system as part of Game Center, device logs, crash reporting, or platform-level services.
Surge Chess is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children through its own account system.
If you believe the app has collected personal information from a child in a way that should be removed, you should provide a working contact email in this policy and request review of the issue.
Surge Chess uses platform-provided services and reasonable technical measures within the app, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

If you do not want Game Center-related processing, you can avoid online matchmaking and use local or offline AI modes instead.
